edition<\/p><p>Period: 25 February \u2013 1 March<\/p><p>Location: Union Square &#8211; Ia\u0219i<\/p><p>Organisers: \u201cART \u2013 Me\u0219te\u0219ugurile Prutului\u201d Association, the Ethnographic Museum of Moldavia<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>The fair celebrates <em>M\u0103r\u021bi\u0219or<\/em>, the string made of two threads &#8211; one red and the other red, twisted and knotted, to which a silver\/silver-like coin was later added &#8211; offered on the 1<sup>st<\/sup> of March, believed to provide protection, to ensure a safe passage from winter to spring, to bring health, prosperity and beauty.
